I use HTML5/JSX, CSS3, and JavaScript to bring web apps to life. My strong suit in front-end development is my ability to utilize CSS to style and animate any design that I can visualize. My favorite frontend libraries/frameworks are React and Three.js. I also have experience working with CSS frameworks and UI kits like Chakra UI and Bootstrap.

Working with tools like Node.js, MongoDB, and Firebase have helped bring functionality to my applications. I also have experience working with cloud hosting services like Heroku and DigitalOcean, along with relational databases and NoSQL databases. I have also worked with CMS's like WordPress and Sanity (headless).

Web Design

Web Design

As a self-taught web developer, UI design was a subject that I easily overlooked early on. As of today, when working on a project I make sure to demonstrate UI design fundamentals like typography; user readability, alignment; proper structure/whitespace, and color/contrast; for user visibility. These fundamentals help establish a visual hierarchy, helping guide the user to items of priority.
